Convenient Web-based Training from Leprechaun
The secret to successful long-term risk adjustment for your Medicare Advantage plan is to properly educate your providers as to the value of complete and accurate coding of every member, every year. Historically, providers have coded for payment, which simply doesn't work well in the new world of 100 percent risk-based plan compensation, where complete and accurate coding of every patient on an annual basis is imperative.
Leprechaun University is our Web-based education program offered only to Leprechaun clients. For minimal cost, Leprechaun currently offers training to your providers in one of 13 specialty areas:
- Cardiology
- Comprehensive Diabetes Assessment Training
- Critical Care Medicine
- Family Practice
- Endocrinology
- Gastroenterology
- General Surgery
- Geriatrics
- Hematology-Oncology
- Infectious Disease
- Internal Medicine
- Nephrology
- Pulmonary Medicine
Because Leprechaun has analyzed your plan's claim data, our courses provide each provider with a picture of how their diagnoses compare with their peers in your plan, something no other risk management tool offers.
